Rajya Lalit Kala Akademi, Ministry of Culture, U P Govt. had Invited nominations and art photography work from all over the country to organise 8th All India Art Photography Exhibition in Lucknow. Upendra Upadhyay of Indore MP was awarded for his Art Photography portfolio “Tree Roots” in function organised by Academy. The Artist was felicitated by a trophy, certificate and Rs 20,000/- and handed over by Subhash Pandey, Minister of Culture, UP Govt and Ajaysheel Goutam, President, Rajya Lalit Kala Academy UP.

The academy had received 246 portfolios from the all states of the country, the jury committee selected portfolio of Tree roots for award where in artistic vision and innovative artwork was performed by Upendra Upadhyay who is already have been honored by many national and International awards including the Royal Photography Award of Great Britain. and his Art photography Exhibition have been organised in many Art centres including Jehangir, Mumbai.
